If you haven’t managed to bag yourself a Centre Court ticket for Men’s Singles Semi-Finals Day (Friday 13th July) – what better way to end the week than with a very special Wimbledon Cream Tea?
The Samphire Club and Cornwall Air Ambulance have joined forces and invite you to enjoy all the action live from SW19 accompanied by a cream tea, bubbles and an opportunity for great conversation and valuable connections at Air Ambulance HQ just outside Newquay.
Samphire Club founder, John Harvey and Paula Martin, CEO of Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust will be on hand to welcome guests and co-host this afternoon of seasonal delight with all proceeds going to the New Heli Appeal.
Cornwall Air Ambulance brings vital emergency medical treatment in minutes to patients across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It flies more than 800 life-saving missions a year and, as a charity, relies solely on donations to fund its vital service. There for everyone – whether you live, work in or visit Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall Air Amubulance recently launched its ‘New Heli Appeal’ – looking to raise £2.5m to bring a next generation air ambulance helicopter into service by 1st April 2020. The new helicopter – medically and technologically advanced and offering significantly faster transit times – will replace the current craft when its lease expires.
