The Samphire Club is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

The Samphire Club may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 6th September 2019.

  • Stripe - a payment gateway service provided by Stripe Inc.
  • WooCommerce - the eCommerce platform for WordPress which allows users to make online payments.

How long your personal data will be kept

Records need to be properly retained to enable The Samphire Club to meet its business needs, legal requirements and to evidence affairs or agreements in the event of disputes.

Under GDPR and the DPA 2018, personal data processed by The Samphire Club must not be retained for longer than is necessary for its lawful purpose.

The standard retention period for The Samphire Club records is 6 years plus current, also known as 6 years + 1. This is 6 years after the last entry in a record followed by review or destruction to be carried out in the current (+ 1) accounting year.

Records will only be retained beyond the standard retention period if their retention can be justified for statutory, regulatory, legal or security reasons.
