TEDx Talks, the programme which helps communities, organisations and individuals produce TED-style events at a local level is to hold an event in Truro. TEDx events are based on the short, powerful talks pioneered by non-profit organisation TED, which is devoted to spreading ideas covering everything from science to business to global issues. Currently plans are being made to secure a venue for the talks, due to take place later in 2016.
