This year’s ROC 5K (3 mile) charity fun run will take on the evening of Tuesday 28th June 2016, starting and finishing at Truro’s Lemon Quay. The major part of the route takes in the city’s beautiful riverside and Boscawen Park. The date was announced at a reception at the Gallery Café in Lemon Street Market, Truro attended by more than 70 business and community leaders. ROC (Robert Owen Communities) is an award winning charity which supports vulnerable local people with learning disabilities.
The ROC 5K 500 has already attracted the support of more than 30 businesses and organisations. Major sponsors include Francis Clark Accountants, Cornish Mutual, Truro & Penwith College and, new this year, Great Western Railway, Nalders Solicitors and The Samphire Club.
